Who runs this site
Sprite n' Geek: Index is operated by Cyberfar (Giuseppe Øllgaard Parlatore, CVR 46277406, kontakt@cyberfar.dk). It's a separate, independent product from the main Cyberfar app and website — a free fan tool for tracking Fortnite Battle Royale sprite collections. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Epic Games, Inc. in any way.
What data the website collects
No account, no login, and no server-side storage of anything personal. Your profiles, your ownership/mastery progress, your language preference, and your cookie-banner choice are all stored only in your own browser's local storage — never transmitted to me or anyone else. If you clear your browser data, that information is gone on my end too, because I never had it.
If you accept the optional cookie ("Accept all" in the banner), I load Matomo — a self-hosted analytics tool on my own server — which records anonymized page-view data (IP addresses are anonymized) so I know roughly how many people use the tracker. See my Cookie Policy for details. Declining it changes nothing about how the site works.
The export/import feature lets you turn a profile into a text code so you can move it between browsers or devices, or share it with someone else yourself — that code is generated and read entirely on your device, I never see it.
What the mobile app collects
The companion mobile app is a separate product from this website, and it does have real accounts — I need that to know roughly how many people actually use it, and it's what lets your collection sync across devices. Signing in only asks for your email address: no password, no name, nothing else. That email, plus your synced collection (which sprites you own and have mastered), are held by Supabase, the backend service that runs the app. Sign-in codes are sent through Resend on my behalf purely to deliver that one email — they don't retain it for anything else. I don't use your email for marketing, and I don't share it with anyone.
You can permanently delete your account from the app itself at any time — this immediately and irreversibly removes your email and your entire synced collection. No need to contact me first.
Future features
Separately, I'm also planning a trade forum with email-based login for the website itself — the website today still has no accounts of its own, only the app does. When the trade forum goes live, this policy will be updated again with the details of that specific system, with proper consent obtained at signup.
Images and third-party content
Sprite artwork, names, and related in-game content are the property of Epic Games, Inc. See my Terms of Use for the full copyright notice.
Your rights
For the website: I don't hold any personal data about you, so there's nothing to request — it all lives in your own browser.
For the app: you can see exactly what's synced to your account inside the app itself, and delete your account and all its data yourself, anytime, from within the app — that's the fastest and most direct way to exercise your GDPR rights here. If you'd rather I do it for you, or you can't access the app, email kontakt@cyberfar.dk and I'll delete it manually.
Changes
I may update this policy as the site grows. Meaningful changes — especially anything that starts collecting real personal data — will be clearly announced on the site before they take effect.
